Soil·Groundwater Remediation

ECO-BIO

EcoBio is a department specializing in soil·groundwater remediation in Nature & Environment Inc. and has been working hard to clean and restore contaminated soil and groundwater through continuous R&D.
EcoBio as leading Green-Tech department, in particular, has large-scale land farming facilities. It's major processes are land farming, soil washing, Electrokinetic Separation, Etc.

The soil of Yoido area is purified by
Nature & Environment Inc.
every year.

Remediation
  • Land Farming

Landfarming, also known as land treatment or land application, is an above-ground remediation technology for soils that reduces concentrations of petroleum constituents through biodegradation.

  • Electrokinetic Separation

An electric field is created by inserting electrodes in the contaminated soil and passing low density DC making the contaminant particles mobile in the soil media. The contaminants get transported towards the electrodes and they are pumped out.

  • Soil Washing

Soil washing is an ex-situ remediation technique that removes hazardous contaminants from soil by washing the soil with a liquid, scrubbing the soil, and then separating the clean soils from contaminated soil and washwater

  • Research & Development

ECOBIO has environmental Lab. With accumulated data from real projects, ECOBIO is conducting various researches. EcoBio not only has a variety of environmental technologies, but also designs an optimal remediation process.
